The challenge: A 1922 bungalow with 60 years of shellac, pet scratches, and a failed polyurethane topcoat. The owners wanted to sell in a month.
The outcome: We sanded to bare wood, applied a warm honey stain, and finished with three coats of satin water-based urethane. The home sold 12 days later — the listing agent credited the floors.
Custom Staining

The challenge: A concrete-topped loft with builder-grade oak that clashed with the owner’s dark, gallery-style aesthetic.
The outcome: We hand-applied a custom walnut stain over the existing oak, adding depth without hiding the grain, and sealed with a durable matte finish. The client has since recommended us four times.

The challenge: A frozen pipe burst over a long weekend, buckling 60 planks in the main living area and staining the rest.
The outcome: We dried and tested moisture levels, replaced the damaged boards with matched oak, and refinished the entire main level — no visible patches, no lingering smell.
